Q:
Does the disease or the consequences of stroke, can cause urinary problems?

A:

A small vessel disease with white matter lesions may be the cause of urinary abnormalities of urge incontinence (difficulty holding back, pressing need). But there are
different
possible causes (urinary tract infections, prostate, effects of births, etc..), Which require medical examinations.  At an advanced stage of disease, when there
are problems with walking, there may be episodes of urinary retention.
Medications can improve them.
